President Nicușor Dan has signed a decree by which Marius-Gabriel Lazurcă is recalled from the position of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Romania to the United Mexican States and to six other countries in Central America. The decree, published in the Official Monitor, stipulates that Lazurcă will conclude his mission within 90 days. Additionally, his name has been discussed as a possible candidate for the position of head of the SIE.
