Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Marian Neacșu, will coordinate the public institutions and structures within the working apparatus of the Luca Niculescu Government, according to an Emergency Ordinance adopted on Tuesday evening, at the first meeting of the new Executive.
The normative act establishes that the Deputy Prime Minister will have his own cabinet, consisting of three contractual staff positions. It will function separately from the cabinet organized within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The ordinance also provides for the establishment of two positions of delegate minister: one for Digitalization and one for Pre-university Education. The measure reorganizes responsibilities within the Executive and establishes new coordination mechanisms between ministries and public institutions.
The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania will be coordinated by the Minister for Digitalization. In turn, the delegate minister will be under the coordination of the Minister of the Economy.
