Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who is facing a motion of censure in Parliament, accuses the PSD/AUR text of having a logical fracture, being deceitful and cynical.
“This motion speaks about commercial companies, about how governance has been conducted and about a metaphor that is disturbing. It has a logical fracture, especially from those at PSD who co-signed or read it. If the motion is true, where have you been? Haven't you been in Government? If it is not true, I would be ashamed,” the Prime Minister stated at the Parliament podium. According to him, “some of those who vote for the motion know what they left behind, but PSD did not assume the position of Prime Minister, they preferred that someone else take the risks, to benefit from the advantages of governance.” Bolojan emphasized that he “assumed the position of Prime Minister being aware that it comes with enormous pressure, I chose to do what was urgent and necessary for our country, with all the problems that have been.” He also mentioned that he reduced the deficit and increased state revenues. “We renegotiated the PNRR, it was not an easy task. We paid the outstanding debts to the contractors,” he added, stating that “the motion is deceitful, cynical, artificial, (...) because it does not take into account the complexity in which we find ourselves.”
