Sorin Grindeanu suspects that traders have raised prices to justify not extending the cap on commercial markups from October 1. He believes that the cap at 20% has been beneficial in reducing inflation and protecting low incomes. Grindeanu calls for verification of compliance with commercial markup limits and the prohibition of re-invoicing to processors. ANAF must urgently present a report on inspections, as Grindeanu suggests a sabotage strategy from some traders.
