Talks to form the new government will start on Wednesday, with meetings scheduled between Nicușor Dan and political parties. Although the PSD has not decided whether it will enter the government, Sorin Grindeanu said the party will take part in the talks without making any demands for now. Liberals support Ilie Bolojan's candidacy for prime minister, but he does not want a minority government. USR does not agree with the idea of a technocrat prime minister and AUR has announced it will not take part in the consultations. The Young People's Party is facing resignations and will disband its group in the Senate.
