Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare said that Romania will have sufficient funds for pensions and salaries, but underlines the need to cut public spending, especially on non-essential events and investments. He acknowledged the current economic difficulties and noted that the budget that has been built is unrealistic in many aspects. Mr Nazare stressed the importance of prudent management of resources and criticized waste in the public sector, stressing that unjustified spending should be avoided.
