Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment from USR, declared on Facebook that Romsilva is eager for PSD to return to power to escape performance evaluations. She described PSD as being "as happy as a child at Christmas" and emphasized that Romsilva and other institutions have been affected by the measures taken by the current government. Buzoianu mentioned that the heads of Romsilva are trying to block the evaluation according to performance criteria, fearing potential exposure of illegalities. She highlighted that a new minister at the Environment could offer them a "breath of fresh air" by abandoning evaluations, thus allowing corruption and incompetence to continue.
"I will tell you what I will do.
I will NOT vote for USL 3.0.
If Romanians wanted USL 3.0, they could have voted for this option in the elections a year ago. USL 3.0 was on the ballots. And it was rejected. Not once. Twice. They received a vote against from millions of Romanians who are the same "political leaders" that will suddenly, these days, be TV stars and explain to us what is good for Romania. In today's light, when PSD seems to be the happiest party, like a child at Christmas in front of presents, I want to show you why Romsilva can hardly wait for PSD to return to power," states Diana Buzoianu, the interim Minister of Waters, Forests, and the Environment, in a Facebook post.
