In a Facebook post, Cioloș emphasized that the phase of active involvement in party politics is coming to an end for him, expressing his desire to recharge his batteries by doing things, not just talking about them. He admitted that REPER's score in the European parliamentary elections was a failure and stressed the need to rebuild the centrist-liberal opposition.
