Gheorghe Piperea said that the motion of censure against European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has entered the official submission stage, with more than 40 signatures from various political groups. The debate and vote will take place at the July 2025 plenary session. Although the chances of adoption are slim, Piperea stresses the importance of public debate on the Commission's actions, citing reasons such as mismanagement of EU funds and lack of transparency in the relationship with Pfizer.
