The co-leader of the United European Left group, Manon Aubry, announced that she has gathered the necessary signatures to submit a motion of censure against the European Commission, accusing it of complicity in the genocide in Gaza. Although Ursula von der Leyen proposed sanctions against Israel, Aubry believes that these measures are insufficient. The motion, although symbolic, is doomed to fail, considering that the majority in the European Parliament does not intend to dismiss the current leadership.
