AUR announces a favorable opinion for the bill aimed at the specialization of the ANRE leadership

The AUR party announced on Thursday that the draft law initiated by Deputy Ionelia Priescu, which aims to specialize the management bodies of the National Authority for Regulation in the Energy Field (ANRE), has received a favorable opinion from the Economic and Social Council (CES).

The purpose of the legislative initiative is to professionalize the management of ANRE by promoting specialists with training and experience in the energy field, which would contribute to strengthening the independence of the institution and reducing political influence over the decision-making process.

Ionelia Priescu stated that this development represents an important step towards eliminating political interference within ANRE and emphasized that such professionalization measures could also benefit other authorities in Romania.
