<p>He emphasized that the US military presence in Romania would remain unchanged, including the Deveselu shield, rejecting the possibility that the US-Russia talks could affect countries on NATO's Eastern Flank. Zuckerman also criticized the fact that the Europeans are taking part in negotiations without the Americans, as Russia has asked the US to withdraw its military troops from Romania.
