The representative trade unions in Romania, including CNSLR-Fratia, CNS Cartel Alfa, CSDR and CSN Meridian, have joined forces to prepare joint protest actions. These will take place in front of prefectures across the country from August 20, and will include collecting signatures for a general strike. The joint demands target the problems faced by union members, including pay cuts and working conditions. The protests will continue into September, with actions already announced in education.
