Remus Ștefureac, director of INSCOP, said the option of a technocrat prime minister would be "catastrophic" for Romania, given the complex decisions and the current security crisis. He emphasized that if the pro-Western coalition failed, there would be room for new parties, given a 44% pool of supporters of extremist messages. Ștefureac noted that the supporters of these parties mainly come from rural areas, where the lack of job opportunities contributes to frustration.
