NewMoney.ro and Informat.ro, with the support of INSCOP Research and Strategic Thinking Group, are organizing the second edition of the NewMoney.Talks conference “NewMoney – INSCOP Economic Sentiment INDEX” on September 23, 2026, at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The event will take place in the Virgil Madgearu Hall, at 6 Piața Romană, and admission is exclusively based on prior registration.
The conference aims to present the latest data on Romanians’ economic perceptions, expectations, and behaviors, three months after the launch of the first index. The new edition analyzes purchasing intentions, control over one’s financial situation, confidence in the younger generation, prospects for life in Romania, and areas with economic performance potential.
The discussions take place in a context marked by economic stagnation, pressure on consumption, fiscal consolidation, uncertainties regarding the PNRR, high prices, and concerns related to energy and critical infrastructure. Guests include Leonardo Badea, Alexandru Nazare, Florin Jianu, Daniel Dăianu, and Remus Ștefureac.
The agenda includes the presentation of the index, a PowerTALK on Romania’s economy, discussions about the business environment in unpredictable periods, the launch of the fall edition of the NewMoney publication, video interviews, and networking.
