A 20-year-old Canadian man stole a 7,000 lei cell phone from a store in Oradea. He was apprehended by a local before security officers arrived.

The young man was immobilized by a local before he managed to escape. He was picked up by security officers and later by the police. The stolen object was recovered and IPJ Bihor opened a criminal file for theft. Investigations are ongoing.
