Meteorologists have issued code yellow warnings of rain and thunderstorms for some areas, as well as heat warnings for the southern half of the country.

The code yellow alert for showers and thunderstorms covers counties in Banat, southern Crișana, south-western Transylvania, valid until Wednesday morning. At the same time, a heat warning has been issued for the southern half of the country, valid until Wednesday. Maximum temperatures of 33-35 degrees are forecast for Bucharest.
