The Union of the Free Trade Unions of the Underground (USLM) draws attention to the critical condition of the Bucharest subway, exacerbated by the heavy rains of June 9, 2025. The trade unionists are asking for the approval of the income and expenditure budget for 2025 in order to be able to purchase the materials necessary for the proper functioning of the metro. Without these funds, the metro is in an irretrievable situation, affecting not only the 630,000 daily riders, but also the entire metropolitan area.
