A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck on Friday morning in the Vrancea seismic zone.

The earthquake occurred at 4:16 at a depth of 116.4 km. It was the ninth earthquake recorded in Romania since the beginning of December, with earthquakes registering magnitudes between 2.1 and 4.8.
