Ismail Onur Özbizerdik, a feared Turkish mafia boss, has been arrested in Romania after a traffic police operation. He is suspected of murder and other serious crimes in Turkey. Although he fled to Romania to escape rivals, he was caught drugged driving, without a license and armed. Turkey has requested his extradition through Interpol. Özbizerdik has been extradited before and has been involved in numerous violent scandals. The decision of the Bucharest Court of Appeal will be taken after the recess.
