PSD senator Titus Corlățean warns that the party is heading for a bleak future, becoming a 10% "hinge" party, useful to right-wing governments. He points to a lack of dynamism and courage within the PSD, where members no longer challenge leaders' decisions. Mr. Corlățean believes that entering the government has led to stagnation in party structures and the loss of valuable members such as Oana Florea and Vasile Pușcaș. He insists on the need for internal reform to meet the challenges of Romanian society.
