The national final exam for the teaching profession will start on Tuesday in 42 exam centers, with more than 9,500 candidates expected to take the written test. Candidates must meet certain requirements, including a teaching stint of at least one year and minimum inspection averages. The test lasts 4 hours and may be extended. Preliminary results will be posted on July 15, and appeals can be filed in the following days. Passing the exam gives teachers the right to practise in pre-university education.
