Employees in SME agencies are demanding pay rises as they are unhappy with their incomes.

The protest was sparked by 180 officials from the nine territorial agencies, who are unhappy with the pay gap with other institutions. They manage funding programs worth 8 billion lei but earn less than 5000 lei a month. They are demanding bonuses for harmful working conditions, work complexity and confidentiality.
