The legislative initiative adopted by the Senate aims to modernize the judicial system by eliminating the requirement for a handwritten signature on documents filed online in court. Documents will be able to be submitted digitally, signed electronically, cutting red tape and saving time for citizens and lawyers. The bill, supported by USR, will be sent to the Chamber of Deputies for a final vote and has the potential to significantly streamline civil procedures.
