In Praid, the ministers of Economy and Environment discussed with experts the diversion of the Corund brook, essential for the safety of the flood-hit salt mine. Economy Minister Bogdan Ivan stressed that diversion is the top priority to prevent water flowing into the old mines. Various solutions are under evaluation, but all depend on further technical expertise. Environmental impacts are also being analyzed and measures are being proposed to support affected businesses. The projects require significant time and resources, and work with experts will continue to find the most effective solutions.
