A man from Maramureș was caught with a fake ITP certificate on his car when he tried to leave the country and is being investigated for forgery.

A 51-year-old man was stopped on his way out of the country by border guards, who discovered that his ITP certificate was false. He was investigated for forgery and the car was impounded. The Periodic Technical Inspection is mandatory for all vehicles on public roads.
