Romania conducted the first real test of the Patriot system with the support of US Army instructors.

The exercise took place at the Capu Midia range along the Black Sea coast and is part of Romania's efforts to develop its air defense capabilities. Since acquiring the first Patriot system in 2020, the US has provided assistance to train and operate it.
