On Sunday, July 27, record lows were recorded at 50 weather stations, after Saturday was the hottest day of the summer, with highs of up to 43.4 degrees. ANM director Elena Mateescu announced that the southeast of the country will continue to face a heat wave, while the rest of the country will experience a drop in temperatures. The next few days will bring atmospheric instability, with torrential showers and intensified winds, bringing the weather closer to normal.
