Romanians queued up at polling stations in Bucharest on Sunday to exercise their right to vote.

Queues formed at several polling stations in Bucharest, with people waiting up to 45 minutes to vote. By 3 p.m., more than 506,899 Romanians had voted in the presidential election, representing 28.41% of the total electorate. For the referendum, the number of voters was 410,043, i.e. 22.94% of voters.
