Defense Minister Ionut Moșteanu has announced changes to the National Defense Law, including the introduction of military volunteering for citizens.

The proposed draft law allows citizens to participate in a four-month training, thus becoming reservists of the Romanian Army. The aim is to attract young people to military careers, giving them the opportunity to stay in the system.
