The leader of PNL Iași, Alexandru Muraru, calls for the dismissal of CNAIR chiefs after important sections of the A7 and A8 highways were excluded from PNRR funding due to administrative mistakes.

Alexandru Muraru accuses CNAIR and the Ministry of Transport of delays and mistakes in the management of tenders, which led to the exclusion of key sections from PNRR funding. Although Romania will not lose money already spent, Muraru stresses the importance of continuing these projects through other sources of funding, such as the 2021-2027 Transport Program. The transport ministry says the changes are not the result of administrative errors, but of technical mismatches between procurement systems.
