The Minister of Transport announces the start of the project for a new bridge over the Danube, between Giurgiu and Ruse, with European funding.

The project has started with a feasibility study, and Grindeanu explained that the new bridge would double the current bridge and provide a solution to decongest traffic congestion, given the rehabilitation works on the Bulgarian side of the Friendship Bridge. The minister also mentioned plans to build a new terminal at Henri Coandă Airport.
