More than 130 students from 13 countries, including Japan, Turkey and the Czech Republic, are taking part in the summer school "Romania - Language and Civilization" at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi. They study Romanian for 18 days and interact with the local culture. The students, of different ages, are passionate about the Romanian language and appreciate the country's rich culture. The coordinators stress the importance of spreading the Romanian language and say interest in the program is steady.
