Nicușor Dan, the president of Bucharest, plans to ask for a re-examination of the law banning fascist, legionary, racist or xenophobic organizations and symbols, after the Constitutional Court rejected his appeal on its unconstitutionality. He says that Romania is a democratic state with diverse opinions and that he will maintain his position, sending the law to Parliament within 10 days of finalizing the drafting.
