In the National Tripartite Council for Social Dialogue, the NBS expressed concerns about the fiscal measures proposed by the government to reduce the deficit, including the VAT increase and the introduction of CASS for high pensions. The union considers these measures to be unfair, affecting low-income earners in particular. The BNS calls for real tax reform and the fight against tax evasion, instead of over-taxing honest taxpayers. The union also proposes alternative measures to improve the tax system and support vulnerable people.
