The National Trade Union Bloc requests a negative opinion on the legislative changes regarding medical leave, warning about the risks of abuse.

BNS, through its representatives, proposed an unfavorable opinion on the legislative initiative B298/2025, which would amend Government Emergency Ordinance no. 158/2005, transferring the entire responsibility for the payment of benefits for medical leave to CNAS. This amendment would eliminate the employers' obligation to cover the first 5 days of medical leave, which, according to the trade unionists, would weaken control over medical absences and disrupt the responsibilities between the state and employers.
