The DN 73C modernization project, between Tigveni and Râmnicu Vâlcea, aims to rehabilitate 13.4 km of national road and build a 2.4 km link road, with an estimated cost of 641 million lei. This modernization is crucial for taking traffic off the A1 Sibiu - Pitesti highway, aiming to improve road safety and capacity. The tender for the works is planned for the summer of 2024, and the project is part of a wider road connectivity strategy under the Transport Program 2021-2027.
