<p>In a meeting in Rome, Giorgia Meloni, Italy's prime minister, joked with Ilinca Simion, George Simion's wife, about the responsibilities she will have if he becomes president, saying she doesn't need any problems in the family. George Simion, the AUR candidate in the 2025 elections, is continuing his European tour, meeting conservative leaders and Romanian communities in Poland, Italy and Belgium, before heading to Brussels and Paris. He stresses the importance of defending Romanian democracy and discussing European projects.
