Between Saturday at 10am and Sunday at 10am, the counties of Mehedinți, Gorj, Vâlcea, Dolj, Olt and Teleorman will be affected by the heatwave, with maximum temperatures of 37-40 degrees and minimums of over 20 degrees. Other areas, such as Muntenia and Transylvania, are under a code yellow warning. On Sunday, Mehedinți, Dolj and Olt will have code red with temperatures of 39-41 degrees. Atmospheric instability will affect the Southern Carpathians, with showers and strong winds. On Monday, the heatwave will persist in most of the country.
