The High Court of Cassation and Justice has decided to extend by 30 days the preventive arrest warrants for Ioan Lup, Andrei Florin Lup and Manfred Ioan Hauptman, members of Horațiu Potra's group. Eleven mercenaries were also placed under house arrest. Potra is still wanted internationally and the Romanian authorities are seeking information on his whereabouts. Investigators recently uncovered an impressive military arsenal in homes associated with Potra, and his group was planning to infiltrate protests after the annulment of the presidential elections.
