Funding for the A3 highway will depend on the state budget, after 250 of the 430 km promised were removed from the PNRR. Civic organizations warn that work could remain incomplete without functional connections. For example, the Zimbor-Poarta Sălajului section is only 12km active, but without a road junction at Românași, it will not be usable. Progress is slow on Zimbor-Topa Mica, and the lack of a temporary link compromises its opening. The authorities and builders must intervene quickly to avoid the investment becoming unnecessary.
