The FACIAS Foundation has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Transport, demanding transparency over the 47% increase in CFR management salaries, despite financial losses and outdated infrastructure. The ministry has not responded to FACIAS's requests to present the arguments and assessments behind this decision. Between 2022-2024, CFR did not make a profit and maintenance works covered only 50% of what was needed, severely affecting rail services. The campaign 'Turn off the tap of waste' aims to make authorities accountable for the efficient management of public funds.
