Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja has announced the start of construction of a new district heating power plant in Bucharest, CET Titan.

Burduja underlined that non-reimbursable funds can still be accessed for the modernization or construction of district heating plants, and the Modernization Fund has created the instrument to accelerate this investment. This will be the first CET to be built from scratch in the last 15 years and it will be up to the latest standards.
