Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja has warned ELCEN employees that he will not give up on the efficiency plan, stressing the need to reduce public spending.

Burduja emphasized that there can be no dialogue with 'Bucharest taken hostage' and that he will not hesitate to apply the legal provisions to ensure the public service of thermal agent production. The efficiency plan aims to reduce protocol and sponsorship expenses and the number of employees by 10%. The minister warned that the protests must not jeopardize the supply of hot water and heating in Bucharest.
