Former presidential candidate Crin Antonescu has said that a new right-wing party, which is neither PNL nor AUR, is needed to meet the needs of a significant part of the electorate. He noted that such a party could be created by the PNL, but would require firm decisions and leadership. Antonescu said he would be willing to offer help, without assuming a political role, if someone would initiate such a convincing project.
