Meteorologists are announcing a code yellow heat wave for Sunday, with temperatures above 35 degrees in Dolj, Olt and Teleorman.

The ANM warning is valid from Sunday noon until Monday 10am and indicates high discomfort. Highs will reach 35 degrees and nights will be tropical with lows of 19-20 degrees. The temperature-fog index will exceed the critical threshold of 80. The heat wave will persist into the next week, especially in the south and west of the country.
