In the first 6 months of 2025, 'Avram Iancu' Cluj International Airport registered 1.6 million passengers, an 11% increase compared to the previous year. The airport handled more than 13,750 aircraft movements, up 12%. June 2025 was the best month on record with 338,000 passengers. Significant increases were seen in charter (+43%) and domestic (+23%) flights. The airport gained international recognition and implemented sustainable fuels, strengthening its position in the region.
