A piece of plaster detached from the ceiling of a ward of the Focsani County Hospital. The hospital manager said the incident took place in the infectious diseases ward of the health unit.

The incident took place in a ward where a mother and a baby with measles were hospitalized without suffering any harm. The room was put into use in 2010 and has not been renovated since. The hospital manager notified the Vrancea DSP about the incident and requested approval for rapid intervention. The Ministry of Health has announced that repairs will be carried out in the problem areas within the next 10 days.
