Police Chancellor General Bogdan Despescu said that with the entry into the Schengen area by air and sea, passengers have no additional obligations.

Mr. Despescu presented the analyses that were the basis of the force requirements for managing the flow of passengers, underlining that entering the Schengen area does not impose any additional obligations for them. Romania and Bulgaria will be part of the Schengen area with air and sea borders from March 31, 2024.
