Nadia Cerva has challenged the appointment of Mihai Busuioc as constitutional judge before the Constitutional Court and the Senate, arguing that he does not have a higher legal education and does not meet the 18-year seniority in the legal profession, as required by the Constitution. Cerva points out that Busuioc's professional activity has focused on areas such as real estate advertising and public administration, which do not meet the legal requirements. Mihai Busuioc, former president of the Court of Auditors, has a controversial professional history, with links to PSD and conflicts with former political leaders.
